It's been a while since I posted anything so I thought now might be a good time. I've been super busy with some other side projects that I can hopefully share in a few months so please stay tuned!  So for now I thought I would share a few Tuff Puppy roughs in progress. These are character designs that are based on storyboard poses done by several of our amazing Board Artists. Brandon Cruise, Fred Gonzales and Rudi Bloss, these guys help make my life easy...I like to work in sketchbook pro and photoshop, these were all done in sketchbook.

Wow, I've been so busy as of late that I haven't had much time to post anything. So I thought I would share a few recent Tuff Puppy designs. I hope to have more time soon to share some other things that I've been working on on the side...

And you thought you were having a bad day...

After digging through the archives today I realized I have tons of Fairly Oddparents designs that have never seen the light of day. These are from an episode about a TV Cooking show challenge. Here we see two of the contestants a French chef and a Mexican chef (the guy). We also see the concoction that Timmy's Mom comes up with that ends up attacking Dad and Timmy with tentacles-n-all. Over all a really fun episode to work on...

Fall color in Michigan

Just got back from a short trip to Michigan last weekend. After living in LA for so long now I guess I had forgetten what fall really looks like. The colors, the smell in the air, even the angle of the sun. It was so nice, really brought back great memories of growing up there.

The Lunch Lady Bug

Everyone remembers the Lunch Lady's from High School, with their hairnets, dishing out that food....that we somehow used to eat? Well, here's a design I recently did for Tuff Puppy which will hopefully bring back all those memories.

From Paris

I recently went to Paris, my first time, it was so amazing for so many different reasons. The food, the coffee, the people watching, the Museums, the architecture, visiting the local fromagerie and so much more. Such a great place to celebrate being an Artist. One of my favorite places was "The History of Inventions Museum" I put together this small collection of objects, gadgets, textures and colors that I saw while there and around.

Wow, I guess it's been a while since I posted anything. Been working pretty hard recently I guess, not much time for anything else it seems. With that said here are a couple of crowds I recently did for Tuff Puppy. Crowds for me are always lots of fun, It's a challenge to make everything work, kind of like a giant jig-saw puzzle.

Saw this guy quite a few years back when I was in Seattle. I was at a free concert downtown and this guy walked buy, he looked
like a character from a David Lynch film....
